EPA Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) – Butte, Montana – KirK has served for more than five years as the TAG Technical Advisor to a Butte citizen’s group for the Silver Bow Creek Superfund Site and the Montana Pole Superfund Site. KirK represents the citizens of Butte by reviewing documents related to the sites and providing technical insights into risk analysis and remediation that will ensure protection of people and the environment. KirK has actively participated in discussions with agency representatives that have led to improvements in the management and remediation of toxic waste sites in the Upper Clark Fork River Basin and Butte. |
