office: (406) 842-7224 email: see link at bottom of page cell: (406) 431-3498 Mr. Payne has more than 20 years of experience as a professional hydrogeologist, environmental consultant, and group facilitator. He serves as president of the board of directors and the principal scientist for KirK.
Scott’s expertise includes water resource, watershed assessment and planning, environmental permitting, evaluation and development of groundwater supplies for industry and municipalities, numerical groundwater flow and solute transport modeling. Scott has installed over 200 monitoring wells and has implemented treatment and disposal systems for contaminated water and soil. Scott has performed oversight of activities completed at CERCLA sites and RCRA facilities. Scott has provided both expert witness and litigation support services for Superfund projects.
In the 1990’s, Scott focused his career on accelerating investigation and cleanup of contaminated and impaired sites to efficiently and effectively protect human health and the environment and reduce the overall cost of cleanup. Scott is the author of Strategies for Accelerating Cleanup at Toxic Waste Sites published by CRC Press and marketed internationally. |
